NHTV international institute of higher education in Breda creates a distinct profile for itself as an independent institute of higher education and focuses on the development of the professional field and on the exercise of scholarly activities in related and specialized domains mentioned below:
NHTV offer a total of eleven hbo-bachelor courses. In the field of tourism and free time NHTV also offers scientific bachelors. In addition, there are opportunities for master’s studies and the combination of working and studying.
NHTV has a strong international orientation and develops education and knowledge from three content related themes: imagineering, cross-cultural understanding and social responsibility. NHTV has four locations in Breda, more than 7,000 students from more than 70 countries and almost 700 employees.
Quality and international setting
The greater part of the courses is English-taught. NHTV attracts lecturers from abroad and 12% of students are from other countries. Much attention is paid to international business and international cooperation, both from a social and cultural perspective and from the economic dimension. The cultural mix guarantees broad-minded, curious and sophisticated students. International accreditations of, amongst others, the UN World Tourism Organization emphasize the quality of the international education.
